We previously announced a security incident on Facebook and want to provide an update on our investigation. We have now determined that attackers used access tokens to gain unauthorized access to account information from approximately 30 million Facebook accounts. We're very sorry this happened. An Update on the Security Issue

We have been working around the clock to investigate the security issue we discovered and fixed two weeks ago so we can help people understand what information the attackers may have accessed. Today, we’re sharing details about the attack we’ve found that exploited this vulnerability. We have not ruled out the possibility of smaller-scale attacks, which we’re continuing to investigate.

As we’ve said, the attackers exploited a vulnerability in Facebook’s code that existed between July 2017 and September 2018. The vulnerability was the result of a complex interaction of three distinct software bugs and it impacted “View As,” a feature that lets people see what their own profile looks like to someone else. It allowed attackers to steal Facebook access tokens, which they could then use to take over people’s accounts. Access tokens are the equivalent of digital keys that keep people logged in to Facebook so they don’t need to re-enter their password every time they use the app.

前述のように、攻撃者は、2017年7月から2018年9月の間に存在していたFacebookコードの脆弱性を悪用しました。この脆弱性は、3つの異なるソフトウェアバグの複雑な相互作用の結果であり、 " View As "自分のプロフィールが他の人にどのように見えるかを見てください。これにより、攻撃者はFacebookのアクセストークンを盗み、それを使って人々のアカウントを引き継ぐことができました。アクセストークンは、ユーザーがFacebookにログインしたままにしておくことができるように、アプリを使用するたびにパスワードを再入力する必要がないデジタルキーと同等です。

この脆弱性を悪用した攻撃の発見方法は次のとおりです。2018年9月14日に始まった珍しい活動の急増を見て、調査を開始しました。9月25日に、これは実際に攻撃であり、脆弱性を特定したと判断しました。2日以内に、潜在的に暴露された人々のアクセストークンをリセットして、脆弱性をクローズし、攻撃を停止し、人々のアカウントを保護しました。予防措置として、「View As」もオフにしました。FBIと協力しています.FBIは積極的に調査しており、誰がこの攻撃の背後にあるのかを議論しないように頼んでいます。

ICANNによるルートゾーンKSKロールオーバー(鍵署名鍵の更新)が日本時間10月12日01:00に実施され、 JPNICのネットワークから、複数のルートサーバにおいて新しい鍵署名鍵による署名されたルートゾーンの提供が開始されたことを確認しました。 念のため皆様のDNSサーバやユーザの利用環境等において不具合が起きていないか、 ご確認いただければ幸いです。 インターネットでの影響はまだ確認されていませんが、 もし何らかの事象が確認されましたら改めてお知らせいたします。

Prior to re-releasing the October 2018 Update our engineering investigation determined that a very small number of users lost files during the October 2018 Update.  This occurred if Known Folder Redirection (KFR) had been previously enabled, but files remain in the original “old” folder location vs being moved to the new, redirected location.

起動時に下記のアラートが出る

　NTTコミュニケーションズ（略称：NTT Com）は、お客さま専用のネットワークをニーズに合わせた組み合わせで提供する企業向けネットワークサービス「ギガストリーム」を、6月1日より提供します。本サービスは、従来の広帯域バックボーンサービス「ギガウェイ」、イーサネット専用サービス「Etherアークストリーム」、高速イーサネットアクセス回線サービス「ブロードバンドアクセス」の3種類のサービスを融合化したものです。

　本サービスの特長は、通信機器や伝送路を共用するIPネットワークと比較して、アクセス回線を含めたお客さま拠点までの区間で帯域を専有するタイプであることや、ルータ、スイッチが少ない単純な網構成を提供できることから、品質、信頼性、セキュリティの面で優れていることであり、高品質かつ高い信頼性の通信回線を必要とするお客さまに適したものとなっています。また、0.1Mb/sから10Gb/sまでの幅広い帯域まで柔軟に提供できることも特長です。

　「ギガストリーム」の提供に伴い、「Etherアークストリーム」として提供していた従来と比べ最大35％の料金値下げを行うほか、従来の「フレックスギガウェイ」にはなかった低速品目の追加を実施します。これにより、信頼性の高いサービスが、より経済的に利用できるようになります。

　なお、「ギガストリーム」を含めた従来の専用系サービス（「ATMメガリンクサービス」、「ディジタル専用サービス（HSD）」、「ディジタルリーチサービス」、「アナログ専用サービス」など）の販売窓口を統合し、専用系サービスを利用するお客さまが、サービスの導入検討や比較、問い合わせなどをより便利に行うことができる提供体制を整えます。

1．専用系サービスの新たなラインナップ（別紙1、2参照）

(1)「ギガストリーム」

　「ギガストリーム」のうち帯域を完全に保証するものを「タイプG（Guarantee）」、優先制御技術を用いて柔軟な帯域設定を行うものを「タイプF（Flex）」として提供します。

　従来NTT Com拠点ビル間の中継サービスとしての提供であった「フレックスギガウェイ」を、新たにアクセス回線も含めたお客さま拠点までの区間を1サービスで提供（エンドエンド化）する形態も可能な「タイプF」に名称変更するほか、「タイプG」については、接続タイプにSTMやEthernetを揃えており、0.5Mb/s～10Gb/sと低速から高速、広帯域まで幅広くサポートしています。

2．「ギガストリームタイプG（Etherアークストリーム）」の料金値下げ

(1)値下げ内容（別紙3参照）

　このたび提供を開始する「ギガストリームタイプG（Etherアークストリーム）」では、30Mb/s～120Mb/sの品目を対象に料金値下げを行います。従来の「Etherアークストリーム」提供料金と比較して、最大35%値下げとなります。
